Small grants can be accessed almost immediately, and can take from a few days to a few weeks to be awarded. These are usually grants that offer from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars, and come from cities or foundations.
Medium sized grants can usually take a few weeks to prepare for, and months to receive the funds. These grants usually offer a few thousand to tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars and usually come from corporations or states.
Large grants are usually from federal agency offerings. These can take months to prepare and apply for and up to a year for the funding to be awarded from the start of the process. These grants usually have a large maximum budget allowed which can vary, but offer funding worth thousands, hundreds of thousands, or even millions. Any communication within the client and us is confidential and remains confidential even when several partnerships are involved.
.
What is the difference between seeking grants on our own versus using your services?
Seeking grants, specially the medium-sized and the large grants, can be very tricky to apply for and the process can become lengthy, challenging and overwhelming. We have the experience to have applied for many grants and developed many proposals for many types of clients. A lot of small companies don’t have enough personnel to handle the labor-intensive proposal development and applications for grants, so we can become a temporary partnership that is there for as long as it takes and for anything needed along the process. Nothing makes us happier than for our clients to succeed.
